Today our class did a typing test and I didn't do that well as you can see. For next time I would like to do alot better.

Curent affiairs quiz

Today in class we did a current affairs quiz the URL is http://www.nieonline.co.nz and the website name is Nie Online.We will be doing a quiz every Friday. We are going to have to read the news paper and watch one of the news channels.

My Speach

This is my speech I did my speech on "Why mobile phones should be allowed in school". My time was 1 minutes and 28 seconds.

Miss Morris

Miss Morris is the student teacher in our room she is an awesome teacher who has taught us a lot she will be leaving us at he end of term 2.

My project

This is a photo of my science board .
My science fair topic was on Plant and light it was an investigation I had even done a model. The model was a box with a plant inside it. The plant had to find the way out of the box it got out but then the plant died.

Me Project

in the start of the term we did a me project we had 1 month to do it. We had to put 3 tittles they were passions, people and place and we got to put pictures on.

Book Bags

Close to the starting of the term we made a book bag we made the book bag then we took it home to work on we had to put 5 objects in the bag and we had to put a plot summary, title, picture andother things.

Touch typing

On the 29 of march room 23 did a touch typing test it was my 3 time. I got 3 words right 10 letters 9 mistakes and 10 %.

Zone cricket

On tuesday the 23 of march we went to Bruce pulman park papakura we won all of our games. We played 3 games I batted for two of the games and I got out for a golden duck both the games and I didnt get to bowl.

Learning Plan

My class did a learning plan I started in week 6 and finishd on week 8 it took me time but in the end I finished. I think I did a good job of it. The Year 8 were at camp for three days thats why it took so long.

Multiple Intelligences Test

Today the year 8 did a test it was a thinking test you have to tick the boxes to how you felt about the text it wasn't that bad at all.I am Picture smart, people smart and Music smart I'm mostly picture smart.

Today we did a typing test for the second time this year I scored 9 words per minute i wrote
30 letters, 1 mistake and i scored 97% out of 100%.
I scored that by not looking at the key bored.

Mathletics

I have got 3 bronze certificates 27 gold bars and I have finished one whole activity. I am going to do my second test as soon as I can. If I wasn't a student our parents will have to pay $99 for each student but now Mr Sweeney only had to pay $30 for each student.Once you have got 1000 points you get a bronze certificate when you get 5 bronze certificates you get a silver certificate when you get 4 silver certificates you get a gold certificate.Each time you go on mathletics we have to spend 10 minutes on live mathletics. Live mathletics is when you verse people all around the world.
